About us

AeroSoc is the departmental society for Aerospace Engineering at the University of Sheffield. We are the society for anyone studying Aerospace, and for those who just have an interest in it. We connect course-mates and people with similar interests through great socials, educational trips and our league winning sports teams.

Through the year we run weekly socials, guest lectures, educational visits and our Winter and Summer Balls. Membership income goes towards subsidising tickets for weekly events and the Balls, as well as reducing the cost of educational visits and guest lectures. Any income is put straight back into the society, so you reap the reward of your investment.

Membership for 2025-26: a 1 Year Membership is £10 and a Lifetime Membership is £25, both available from our Students' Union page. Our football membership lets players of all abilities play and enjoy league football: £27 for members and £35 for non-members.
